Situational awareness, condition yellow, and mindset are all buzzwords thrown around almost lackadaisically. But what do they really mean? How do you instill awareness of your surroundings to yourself or others? Without those things, what good is having a firearm with you? Or, what if you can’t carry a firearm the day you need it? Michelle Cerino delves into all these topics and offers suggestions from a non-tacticool point of view.

About MCFAN: Our meetings take place from 8:30 – 10:00 AM on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month. Our current meeting venue is the Thirsty Cowboy (2743 Medina Rd., Medina). Each meeting features a guest speaker followed by socialization with fellow conservatives. Cost for meetings is $5.00 per person to cover room rental and coffee. (No charge for first-time guests or octogenarians.)
